Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 LEXUS IS 250. THE CONTACT STATED THAT BOTH THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG PANELS DETACHED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THE AIR BAG PANELS WERE REPLACED. IN ADDITION, THE RUBBER AROUND THE SUN ROOF ALSO DETACHED. THE DEALER REPAIRED THE RUBBER TRIM. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED NUMEROUS TIMES FOR THESE FAILURES, BUT THEY KEPT RECURRING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
