Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET EQUINOX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE'S SPEEDOMETER FAILED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO TWO CERTIFIED MECHANICS WHO STATED THAT THE SPEEDOMETER MOTOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED; HOWEVER, THE EXACT FAILURE WAS NOT ABLE TO BE PROPERLY IDENTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND ADVISED THE CONTACT TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 84,000.
