Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 DODGE RAM 1500. WHILE TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL NOISE COMING FROM UNDER THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE AXLE WAS FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000. UPDATED 01/06/2017*CT THE CONSUMER STATED THE DRIVE SHAFT DISCONNECTED FROM THE REAR AXLE. UPDATED 03/06/17.*JB
