Consumer Description

THE SERVICE AIR BAG LIGHT STAYS ILLUMINATED ON DASH AND THE PASSENGER AIR BAG IS OFF EVEN IF SOMEBODY IS SEATING IN THE PASSENGER SEAT . I HAVE TRIED CALLING DEALERS, SATURN-GM BUT HAVE GOTTEN NO HELP WITH THE RESOLUTION OF THIS DEFECT. THEY SAY THAT IT IS A DEFECTIVE SENSOR BUT ACCORDING TO A LOT OF FORUMS THIS IS A WELL KNOWN ISSUE AND THIS SHOULD BE A SAFETY DEFECT NOT JUST A RECALL. THIS TECHNICALLY COULD HURT OR KILL SOMEONE IN AN ACCIDENT AND THEY HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THIS. IF SOMETHING HAPPENS WHILE DRIVING THIS VEHICLE I WILL TAKE THIS AS HIGH AS I CAN TAKE IT. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR AT LEAST 18 MONTHS.
