Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 GMC ENVOY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE LOW BEAM HEADLAMP AND DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS FAILED TO OPERATE PROPERLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE HEADLAMP DRIVER MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED PRIOR TO THE FAILURE PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V519000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED AFTER THE VEHICLE RECEIVED THE FREE REMEDY REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 128,000.
