Consumer Description

THE DRIVERS METAL SEAT BRACKET UNDER THE SEAT SNAPPED WHEN GETTING IN MY CAR. THE SEAT IS WOBBLY AND MOVES WITH BRAKING OR ACCELERATING. I WAS TOLD IT WAS NOT PART OF A RECALL AND WOULD COST $1500.00 TO BUY A NEW BRACKET. A WHOLE NEW SEAT WOULD BE $5000.00. THERE ARE MANY COMPLAINTS FROM OWNERS OF THIS MODEL ABOUT THE FRONT SEAT BRACKET BREAKING. IF I WAS IN AN ACCIDENT MY SEAT WOULD DEFINITELY COME LOOSE FROM MY CAR WITH ME IN THE SEAT. I CAN'T AFFORD A $1500 BRACKET. WHY WOULD THAT BRACKET COST THAT MUCH?
