Consumer Description

SIMILAR TO THE 2012-2013 DODGE DURANGOS RECAL THAT INVOLVED THE TIPM AND FUEL PUMP RELAY. MY 2015 RAM 1500 BEGAN TO NOT START AS IF IT WASN'T GETTING ENOUGH FUEL WITH LONG CRANK TIMES THAT HAVE ONLY GOTTEN WORSE OVER THE PAST FEW WEEKS. THE LAST WEEK, I NOTICED A GASOLINE SMELL AFTER EACH OCCURENCE. TODAY (2016-08-08) IS HAS GOTTEN TO POINT THAT I NEVER KNOW IF THE TRUCK WILL START. I HAVE BROUGHT INTO MY DEALER TODAY AND THE SERVICE TECH MENTION THAT THIS SOUNDED LIKE THE "DURANGO" RECALL ISSUE. I AM ASKING THAT YOU EXTEND THE 2012-2013 JEEP/DURANGO TO 2015 RAM 1500'S. I KNOW THE PETITION WAS DENIED BUT I'M ASKING THAT YOU RE-EVALUATE CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS. NHTSA RECALL NO. : 15V-115 - DOESN'T START ON FIRST TRY. HEAVY SMELL OF FUEL.
