Consumer Description

WHEN I PULLED UP TO A PARKING SPOT AND TOOK MY FOOT OFF THE GAS PEDDLE AND PLACED IT ON THE BREAK THE ENGINE STARTED TO ACCELERATE AND ENGINE RPM'S CLIMBED ABOUT 1000 RPM'S. THE CAR'S TRANSMISSION WAS STILL IN DRIVE (D). I HAD TO FORCE THE TRANSMISSION INTO PARK (P) AND PUSH THE START/STOP BUTTON TO SHUT THE ENGINE OFF. THIS INCIDENT ALMOST CAUSED ME TO REAR END A PARKED CAR.
