Consumer Description
WHEN VEHICLE IS STATIONARY THROTTLE DECREASES TO BELOW 500 RPM, AND SOMETIMES STALLS. TRANSMISSION AND ENGINE CHECK COME IN INTERMITTENTLY. FORD AWARE OF THE THROTTLE BODY AND ACCELERATOR PROBLEM BUT WON'T FIX IT UNTIL BROKEN. TOOK IT TO DEALERSHIP AND PAID $125 FOR DIAGNOSTIC BUT THEY TOLD ME THERE IS NO PROBLEM. I CALLED FORD AND THEY JUST REFERRED ME BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP STATING THEY ARE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM BUT WON'T FIX IT UNTIL IT IS BROKEN. PLEASE HELP, I CAN'T DRIVE THE CAR DUE TO THE SAFETY CONCERN.
