Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD FIESTA. WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED LOSS OF POWER AND VIBRATED ABNORMALLY. WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESPOND. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE AND SOFTWARE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED PER SERVICE BULLETIN NUMBER: TSB-15B22 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, POWER TRAIN); HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 98,000.
