Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 DODGE CHALLENGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START AND THE INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. IN ADDITION, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT FLASHED. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO BE STARTED AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TIPM MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED SEVERAL TIMES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000.
