Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 GMC TERRAIN. WHILE IDLING, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY STALLED AND SHUT OFF. WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE DASHBOARD LIGHTS SUDDENLY BEGAN TO DIM AND THE SPEED REDUCED TO 15 MPH. THE "ENGINE POWER REDUCED" MESSAGE APPEARED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND THE ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE WAS REPLACED AND THE THROTTLE BODY WAS CLEANED, BUT THE FAILURES CONTINUED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 32,000.
