Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2013 FORD ESCAPE. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. IN ADDITION, AN ABNORMAL NOISE EMITTED FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER, BUT THE FAILURE WAS UNDETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 48,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. UPDATED 08/22/16*LJ THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE STALLED, WHEN HE ATTEMPTED TO PASS ANOTHER VEHICLE. UPDATED 08/30/16. *JB
