Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE MAGNUM. WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE WENT INTO DEFAULT MODE AND DECELERATED TO 30 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED OVER AND THE ENGINE WAS TURNED OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED AND THE SHIFTER WOULD NOT MOVE OUT OF THE PARK POSITION. THE CONTACT MANUALLY RELEASED THE SHIFTER TO THE DRIVE POSITION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO NUMEROUS MECHANICS, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 135,000.
