Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD EXPLORER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PAINT ON THE VEHICLE'S HOOD STARTED TO BUBBLE AND THERE WAS CORROSION NEAR THE HATCH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD EXPERIENCED CORROSION AND THE HOOD AND THE HANDLE ON THE HATCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 60,000.
