Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500. WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE WOULD SUDDENLY SHUT OFF. THE CONTACT ALSO EXPERIENCED DIFFICULTY STARTING THE VEHICLE DUE TO A FAULTY IGNITION SWITCH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE IGNITION SWITCH WAS FAULTY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 98,000.
