TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD EDGE. THE CONTACT NOTICED CORROSION AROUND THE REAR DRIVER SIDE WHEEL WELL OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL TANK CORRODED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V682000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
