TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 NISSAN ROGUE. WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE HOOD FLEW OPEN AND WOULD NOT CLOSE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HOOD, TWO FRONT FENDERS, AND ROOF WERE DAMAGED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
