TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 CHEVROLET IMPALA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN AND PARKED OUTSIDE THE RESIDENCE. A FEW MINUTES LATER, SMOKE EMERGED FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE ENTIRE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE WAS BURNED. THE FIRE AND POLICE DEPARTMENT WERE PRESENT AND FILED REPORTS. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 96,000.
