Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD EDGE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE SHOOK VIOLENTLY WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE TO THE RESIDENCE. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE POWER CONTROL MODULE AND THE COILS NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 138,000.
