Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE JOURNEY. WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE CONTACT NOTICED AN ABNORMAL FUEL ODOR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ODOR WAS MORE EVIDENT IN THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FUEL TANK AND FUEL PUMP FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 11,000.
