Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 CADILLAC CTS. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE TIMING CHAIN NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE, WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS ELIGIBLE FOR REPAIRS UNDER A CUSTOMER SATISFACTION CAMPAIGN RELATED TO THE TIMING CHAIN. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 54,000.
