TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS CONTRIBUTED TO THE ALTERNATOR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE ALTERNATOR WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 58,912.
