Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENGINE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH. THE VEHICLE CAME TO A STOP WHEN IT CRASHED INTO A POLE. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED BRUISES TO THE RIGHT AND LEFT WRIST THAT DID NOT REQUIRE MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE LOCAL DEALER, BUT A DIAGNOSTIC WAS NOT PERFORMED. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V121000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
