TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 NISSAN JUKE. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL POPPING SOUND COMING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THERE WAS SIGNIFICANT POWER LOSS TO THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TURBO/SUPERCHARGER BOOSTER ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 11V583000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 69,000.
