Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 KIA OPTIMA. WHEN STARTING THE VEHICLE, IT HAD A HARD START. WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO LOSE ACCELERATION AND THE PEDAL STIFFENED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL PUMP FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
