Consumer Description

TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 DODGE RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED SPORADICALLY. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 14V770000 (AIR BAGS) AND 15V313000 (AIR BAGS); HOWEVER, THE PARTS TO DO THE REPAIRS WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 132,000. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
