TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FOCUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING, THE TRUNK OPENED INDEPENDENTLY WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE FAILURE RECURRED AND WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER UP TO TEN TIMES BEFORE THE LATCH, SPRING, AND WIRING WAS REPLACED BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 34,500.
