Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 DODGE NITRO. WHILE PARKED, THE VEHICLE ROLLED AWAY ON ITS OWN. THE CONTACT'S DAUGHTER WAS ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PARKING BRAKE FAILED SEVERAL TMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER, BUT THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE, BUT DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 99,883.
