Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 GMC ENVOY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 55 MPH, THE CONTACT HEARD AN ABNORMAL NOISE COMING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT OF THE VEHICLE. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT NOTICED CORROSION ON THE FRONT PASSENGER'S SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND THAT THE SUB FRAME NEEDED TO BE WELDED. THE ENGINE WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,000.
