TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER THE DEFROSTER WAS ACTIVATED, THE REAR WINDSHIELD SHATTERED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED HOWEVER, THE REAR WINDOW WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 53,000.
