Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 CHEVROLET EQUINOX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL NOISE COMING FROM THE ENGINE. THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THAT THE OIL LEVELS IN THE VEHICLE WERE VERY LOW. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS DUE TO EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 123,367.
