Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHEVROLET TAHOE. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED TO A CURB, THE PLASTIC WIND DEFLECTOR WAS PLACED TOO LOW (APPROXIMATELY EIGHT INCHES FROM THE PAVEMENT), MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO PULL AWAY FROM THE CURB WITHOUT PULLING OUT THE FRONT FENDER. THE FAILURE RECURRED AND THE FRONT FENDER WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA TO FILE A COMPLAINT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 12,702.
