Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SATURN AURA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS AN UNUSUAL NOISE EMITTED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH. IN ADDITION, THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO REPLACED THE POWER STEERING PUMP ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS. IN ADDITION, THE RACK AND PINION WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000.
