Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHEVROLET SONIC. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, HER FOOT SLIPPED OFF THE ACCELERATOR AND BRAKE PEDAL WHEN DEPRESSED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED DUE TO THE ACCELERATOR AND BRAKE PEDAL BEING MADE OUT OF METAL INSTEAD OF RUBBER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS NO REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 23,000.
