Consumer Description

DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT NIGHT AT APPROX. 70 MPH. ALL THE WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON IN THE DASH. THE SPEEDO AND ODOMETER STOPPED WORKING. NO NOISE OR VIBRATIONS NOTED. PULLED OFF EXIT AND STOPPED AT STOP SIGN. CAR WOULD NOT MOVE AFTER PRESSING ACCELERATOR. RPMS VERY HIGH AND CAR BEGAN TO ROLL FORWARD. EVENTUALLY GOT UP TO 20MPH. STOPPED IN PARKING LOT. SHUT CAR OFF FOR A FEW MINUTES. RESTARTED CAR AND PUT INTO REVERSE. LOUD BANG AND SHUDDER. FELT LIKE TRANSMISSION WAS GOING TO EXPLODE. BACKED UP, PUT CAR IN DRIVE, SAME VIOLENT REACTION FROM TRANSMISSION. DROVE TO DESTINATION AND PARKED OVERNIGHT. NEXT MORNING ALL WAS FINE. TRANSMISSION APPEARED TO FUNCTION NORMALLY AND ALL DASH INSTRUMENTATION WAS WORKING. OCCURRED IN SUMMER OF 2014.
