Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD EDGE. WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE DECREASED IN SPEED. THE CONTACT NOTICED AN ABNORMAL NOISE FROM THE TRANSMISSION WHEN SWITCHING GEARS. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE BRAKES WERE INOPERABLE WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS BEING DEPRESSED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED INTERMITTENTLY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 111,000.
