Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 TOYOTA YARIS. WHILE DRIVING 10 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED WITHOUT WARNING AND CAUSED THE CONTACT TO CRASH INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE FAILURE RECURRED SEVERAL TIMES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
