TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 JEEP COMMANDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 65 MPH, HER KNEE MADE CONTACT WITH THE IGNITION KEY CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO SHUT OFF. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V438000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE RECALL REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000. .....UPDATED 04/15/16 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. *JS
