Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 NISSAN VERSA. WHILE ACCELERATING FROM A STOP, THE VEHICLE HESITATED TO ACCELERATE. THE FAILURE RECURRED MULTIPLE TIMES. WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE GEAR SHIFTER SHIFTED FROM DRIVE TO NEUTRAL INDEPENDENTLY. THE FAILURE RECURRED MULTIPLE TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 76,000.
