TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. WHILE DRIVING OVER A SPEED BUMP AT APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE LIFTGATE OPENED WITHOUT ACTIVATION. THE FAILURE RECURRED CONSTANTLY. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V415000 (STRUCTURE) HOWEVER, THE RECALL PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,000.
