Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 BUICK RENDEZVOUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS A STRONG FUEL ODOR UNDER THE HOOD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ALTERNATOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT REPLACED THE BATTERY AND THE ALTERNATOR INDEPENDENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 160,000.
