Consumer Description

THE PACIFICA FLOOR SHIFTER WILL NOT SHIFT OUT OF PARK. THE PROBLEM IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS HAS BEEN RECALLED FOR THE (2005-2007) CHRYSLER 300, DODGE CHARGER, AND MAGNUM (CHRYSLER CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NOTIFICATION CODE K39), BUT IS NOT LISTED FOR THE PACIFICA. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTER INTERLOCK LEVER SPRING HOOK BREAKS AND PREVENTS THE SHIFTER FROM SHIFTING OUT OF PARK. THIS DEFECT IS NOTED FREQUENTLY ON THE CHRYSLER FORUMS (CHRYSLERFORUM.COM).
