Consumer Description

WHILE TURNING LEFT OR RIGHT AND ACCELRATING THERE IS A CLUNKING NOISE IN THE FRONT END. BROUGHT TO DEALER AND THEY SAID THE LOWER STEERING SHAFT WAS BAD AND WOULD BE REPAIRED FREE OF CHARGE SINCE IT WAS UNDER WARENTY . GOT A CALL 2 DAYS LATER AND WAS TOLD IT WAS THE UPPER SHAFT AND BEARING THAT NEEDED TO BE REPACED ALSO, SO NOW THEY HAVE MY CAR FOR 4 DAYS. I CALL ON DAY 5 AND THEY TELL ME IT WONT BE READY AND THEY WOULD CALL ME WHEN IT WAS SO I DO NOT HAVE MY TRUCK OVER THE LABOR DAY WEEKEND THEY ARE CLOSED MONDAY LABOR DAY. I CALL ON TUESDAY SEPT.8, 2015 AND AM TOLD THEY HAD TO ORDER AND WILL BE REPLACING THE RACK AND PINION SET UP IN THE STEERING . I DO NOT BELIVE THEY KNOW WHAT IS WRONG AND ARE GOING TO REPLACE ALL THE COMPONETS TILL THEY FIND THE SOURCE OF THE NOISE.
