Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 DODGE CHARGER. WHILE DRIVING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED, THE CONTACT NOTICED SMOKE UNDER THE HOOD AND THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHO REPAIRED THE VEHICLE, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE REPAIRS WERE UNKNOWN TO THE CONTACT. THE VEHICLE WAS ALSO REPAIRED ACCORDING TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V567000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). WHEN THE KEY WAS TURNED IN THE IGNITION, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START. THE REMEDY DID NOT REPAIR THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE VIN WAS ALSO INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V313000 (AIR BAGS). THE PARTS FOR THE REPAIR WOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR MONTHS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
