TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2006 DODGE RAM 1500. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, THE CONTACT HEARD A LOUD NOISE. THE CONTACT WAS OUTSIDE OF THE VEHICLE AND THE VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE TO THE ENTIRE CAB WHERE THE ENGINE WAS LOCATED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 135,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
