TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FOCUS. WHILE ACCELERATING FROM A STOP POSITION, THE VEHICLE STARTED TO VIBRATE AND MADE AN ABNORMAL GRINDING SOUND AS IT HESITATED TO SHIFT GEARS AND ACCELERATE. THE FAILURE RECURRED MULTIPLE TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPROGRAMMED. HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 22,000.
