Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE RAM 2500. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, BLACK SMOKE EMITTED FROM THE EXHAUST SYSTEM. AS A RESULT, THE VEHICLE STALLED AS AN UNKNOWN WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE PARTICULATE FILTER EXHAUST SYSTEM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 79,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
