Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 HUMMER H3. THE CONTACT STATED THAT ONCE THE ANTI-THEFT WAS ACTIVATED, IT WAS UNABLE TO BE DEACTIVATED USING THE KEY FOB OR MANUALLY. AS A RESULT, THE ENGINE LOCKED, AND THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO START THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT DURING RAINY WEATHER, WATER ENTERED THE VEHICLE FROM THE DRAIN HOLES ON TOP OF THE VEHICLE. AS A RESULT, THE INTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE AND THE AIR BAG WERE WET. THE FAILURE RECURRED DURING THE RAINY WEATHER CONDITIONS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000. UPDATED 09/18/15*LJ UPDATED 09/22/15*JB
