TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 GMC SIERRA 1500. WHEN ATTEMPTING TO START THE VEHICLE, THE VEHICLE WOULD MOMENTARILY GET STUCK IN THE START POSITION. THE FAILURE WAS INTERMITTENT. THE CONTACT WAS MADE AWARE OF THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V827000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) BY A INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHO CONFIRMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000.
